The concern over environmental degradation is common throughout the world. However, it is often difficult to evaluate and predict the impacts of single or compound risks, and all predictive methods require an understanding of the environment at risk. The focus of this course will be to provide a framework for understanding and assessing regional environment risk, as well as commonly used statistical, systematic and model methods and case studies. The goals of this course are: 1. To help students understand the purpose, meaning, theory and framework in Regional environment risk assessment 2. To introduce commonly used statistical, systematic and model methods by scientists in research 3. To learn how to use software of SPSS, AMOS, AHP,and Lingo to real risk assessment problem solving.
