This 40 hour course aims to give students an understanding of the principles and methods of remote sensing, mainly including the imaging mechanism of remote sensing image, interpretation and analysis of visible/near infrared remote sensing, thermal infrared remote sensing, microwave remote sensing, and integrated analysis of remote sensing image etc. By the end of the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental theory and method about remote sensing and applications of remote sensing, which are of great help for students’ future study and research. Exam will be taken at the end of course. Students will gain scores on the basis of the academic record of their homework and the final exam. |
